Step 1: Press the home screen for a long time thereafter you will see a menu on your smartphone’s screen.
Step 2: Click on widgets. Find out the shortcut of Whatsapp from the list of shortcuts that you might have come across.
Step 3: Tap on “4 x 1 WhatsApp” widget from the list of various Whatsapp widgets.
Step 4: By touching and holding that widget you can drop it anywhere on the home screen you want. Thereafter you can expand it by pressing the widget for the long time.
Now you are all done and now you can read the Whatsapp messages without opening the chat option. Not only this but from this widget you can even read all your earlier messages that you haven’t read till now.
